Bangkok, Thailand, July 22, 2017 - Italy continues a winning streak in World Grand Prix, securing a 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-15) victory over Dominican Republic. Caterina Bosetti and Miriam Sylla led the team to sixth consecutive victory.
Both players scores 10 points in attack and one block each, becoming best scorers of Italy. Gina Mambru was the strongest point of Dominican Republic with 10 points, all in attack. Italians dominated in attack, block and serve, with good performance from Ofelia Malinov, who scored four kill-blocks.
With two victories for 3 points, Italy secures its position in pool H1.
