Ankara, Turkey, July 8, 2017 – Serbia has now won six consecutive matches after defeating Brazil 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-19) on Saturday in the World Grand Prix.
Serbia captain Milena Rasic: "As we said before the game, Brazil is one of the strongest teams in the world. Even though they played with a younger team, they were still pretty good. It was a tough game today but in the end we made it and we won the game."
Serbian head coach Zoran Terzic: "We are really happy and satisfied about this game. Because we know that Brazilian team is one of the best in the world. Especially against Brazil we wanted to win."
Brazil captain Natalia Pereira: "We knew it would be a tough game. We didn't make a good game. It is important to forget the result but think about our mistakes and what we did wrong."
