USA won all their matches in Kunshan, China on the opening weekend of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix
Lausanne, Switzerland, July 9, 2017 - The third day of action in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix featured a determined Italian side in Group 1 recording their first victory in three matches. The Italians posted a 3-2 win against Russia, while USA extended their winning run with a 3-0 victory over China in Pool B1 in Kunshan, China.
In Pool A1, the first match featured an all-European match-up between Serbia and Belgium, which the former won in straight sets. Brazil and the Netherlands won in five sets in Ankara and Apeldoorn, respectively.
