World Grand Prix - Saturday highlights

 

Milena Rasic got Serbia back on the winning trail as she scored 18 points against Japan in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in Sendai

Lausanne, Switzerland, July 15, 2017 – The start of Saturday’s action in the 2017 edition of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix saw Serbia get back on the winning trail with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-20) win over hosts Japan in Sendai. Serbia have now evened the win-loss record with Japan to 4-4 in eight outings in the World Grand Prix.

Week 2 continues with matches on Saturday and Sunday. Log on to the FIVB's YouTube channel for live coverage, replays and highlights and subscribe to the FIVB's YouTube channel to receive notifications when new videos are added.

Matches to look out for later on Saturday include Group 1 encounters between world champions USA and Italy, between defending champions Brazil and Thailand, between China and Turkey, between the Netherlands and the Dominican Republic, and the all-European clash between Russia and Belgium.
