Grosser and Germany ease past Colombia

Grosser scored 15 points on Sunday

Almaty, Kazakhstan, Jul 16, 2017 - Tanja Grosser led the way for Germany in their straight-set victory over Colombia on Sunday.

Grosser was joined by teammate Louisa Lippmann as they scored 15 points each. Dayana Segovia put 13 on the board for the losing side.

The first two sets saw Colombia unable to put up any kid of resistance, as they conceded both sets by 25-16. The third set was a different story, however, with Colombia patiently building a lead, and jumping three-points ahead at 15-12. They were still in the driver's seat toward the end of the set at 22-21, but good spiking from Grosser and unbeatable block allowed Germany to take the third set, 25-23.
