The top two teams at the end of the Preliminary Round met in the first match of the Finals in Nanjing
Nanjing, China, August 2, 2017 - Serbia defeated USA 3-2 (25-22, 25-17, 23-25, 18-25, 15-11) in the opening match of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Finals on Wednesday. USA are in action again against Italy in the first match of the day on Thursday. Serbia will play Italy on Friday.
