Lausanne, Switzerland, July 21, 2017 - Korea host Colombia Saturday in Suwon in the first time the two sides come head-to-head in any official competition. Korea are on a five-match winning streak this season - their joint longest in the FIVB World Grand Prix since 1997 - and stand at 6-1 thus far in 2017. Colombia, who opened the season with two straight wins and bounced back for three wins on the trot, have lost their last two matches and stand at 3-4.
Head-to-Head• Korea and Colombia have never met at either the World Grand Prix or any other major competition yet.
• Korea have met CSV-sides 26 times at the World Grand Prix. They have won only seven, but these include the last two. Korea never won three matches in a row against CSV-sides at the World Grand Prix.
• Colombia have met an AVC-side four times at the World Grand Prix, all matches against Kazakhstan. They won three of these encounters and lost one.
Korea• Korea have won six and lost only one encounter in the 2017 World Grand Prix.

Colombia• Colombia have won three and lost four matches in the 2017 World Grand Prix. The lost the first two matches, rebounded with three straight wins, before suffering defeat in the last two.
• Colombia won four matches in Group 3 in 2016, needing one to equal that number in this Group 2 campaign. In their debut season 2015, they had six victories in Division C.
