Neuquen to host World Grand Prix matches in Argentina

Buenos Aires, Argentina, January 26, 2017 - The Ruca Che stadium in Neuquen will serve as the venue for the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix's Preliminary Round visit to Argentina in July when the South American country will play hosts to the competition for a fourth consecutive year after events in Lomas de Zamora (2014), Formosa (2015) and Tucuman (2016).

Argentina's women are one of twelve teams participating in World Grand Prix Group 2 in 2017 and from July 7 to 9, Guillermo Orduna's players will host Pool B2 rivals from Canada, Croatia and Poland.

Argentina will play in front of their fans after celebrating their first participation in a women's Olympic tournament in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. They will then travel to Poland for their second week of matches in this year's World Grand Prix from July 14 to 16 before visiting Croatia for week threee from July 21 to 23.

Ruca Che is a multi-purpose stadium in Neuquen, the capital of the province of Neuquen and largest city in Patagonia.
