Angela Leyva was at her point-scoring best against Colombia
Chiclayo, Peru, July 08, 2017 - Angela Leyva has continued to torment opposition teams in the FIVB World Grand Prix, this time scoring 24 points in Peru’s 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 26-24) win over Colombia in their Group 2 match.
Leyva was in fine form for Peru in Chiclayo on Saturday and her game-high tally included 21 points from spikes. Dayana Segovia was prominent for Colombia and scored a team-high 22 points, but the win went to Peru as they started their FIVB World Grand Prix 2017 campaign with a second victory from as many starts.
