Poland too strong for Colombia

Post-match press conference

Suwon, Korea, July 21, 2017 – Poland made an excellent performance in their FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2017 match against Colombia and did not allow the opponents to play as planned, according to the opinions shared during the post-match press conference.

Jacek Nawrocki, coach of Poland: "I think our team played rationally. We did not make mistakes in blocking and serving. I am very happy with today's performance of my team."

Joanna Wolosz, captain of Poland: "I think we played a good game. The opponents did a good job. We were good in serving, which made the game easy for us. We practically secured our spot in the Final Four. We cannot afford making any more mistakes in the final round."

Antonio Rizola Neto, coach of Colombia: "Our team could not play at their best, because Poland made it difficult for us to play as we had planned. Poland were excellent in defence, blocking and offence."

Maria Alejandra Marin, captain of Colombia: "First of all, congratulations to Poland! Columbia made many mistakes in defence, but I think it was an opportunity for us to develop as a team."
