Malwina Smarzek led Poland to a straight-set win over Croatia in the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Group 2 competition in Neuquen, Argentina
Neuquen, Argentina, July 7, 2017 – Poland dominated Croatia 3-0 (25-10, 25-9, 25-18) in their opening match in Group 2 of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix at Ruca Che on Friday.
Malwina Smarzek led Poland and topped all scorers with 19 points, including 15 attacks, two blocks and two aces; while Lucija Mlinar made seven points for Croatia on a losing effort.
Poland have won their opening match for the fourth time in a row, after beating Belgium 3-1 in 2014, Bulgaria 3-0 in 2015, Canada 3-1 in 2016 and Croatia 3-0 this year.
