Today we played our best, say Argentina coach Orduna

Argentina coach Guillermo Orduna is happy with a win over Croatia

Varazdin, Croatia, July 21, 2017 - Argentina won against Croatia after losing first set 3-1 (26-28, 25-19, 25-16, 25-13) as coach Orduna substituted some of his players.

Argentina coach Guillermo Orduna: Today we played our best. Serves were very important. In the first set we had a lot of mistakes but in the second one we changed a few players and we started to block their shots. We started to attack more and won the match. Tomorrow we will play against Puerto Rico and we will have to defend their serve if we are going to win.

Croatia coach Miroslav Aksentijević: We opened this match pretty well, but at the end of first set we lost our rhythm. That allowed for a comeback for the Argentinian team. In the second set we didn't start well, and even though we were able to recover at the end of the set we lost. After that we increasingly had more difficulty on their serve and we were not able to beat them in the end.
