Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, Poland, July 13, 2017 – A press conference was held at the KSZO Hall ahead of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Pool E2 matches in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski this weekend, where Poland will host Argentina, Peru and South Korea hoping to extend their series of victories from the previous weekend.

Poland Volleyball Federation President Jacek Kasprzyk said: "I want to thank Mr. Mayor for hosting this tournament here. I want to welcome our guests from abroad and, of course, from Poland. Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski is my hometown, so it is a double joy for me to have such a great competition here."

Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski President Jarosław Górczyński said: "This weekend we will host four strong national teams from Argentina, South Korea, Peru and of course Poland. In our city we have true fans of volleyball and the attractive roster of this pool guarantees a great support and atmosphere here."

Poland head coach Jacek Nawrocki said: "We are really glad to play in Poland, especially after our recent long journeys. I am happy to be here again, because I am a regular guest here during the Polish league season. I feel that this hall is one of the nicest venues in Poland, so I hope it will be good for us and for our guests. We have nothing but high respect for our rivals: South Korea are a very strong team, Peru played a good tournament at home. We played against Argentina last weekend and won, but we are aware they will come here very determined. Our team is full of young players, as you will see, but they will do everything to please the fans and show our best in front Polish crowd."

Peru head coach Luizomar De Moura said: "I am very happy to be here in Poland. I hope my team will play a good competition. Good luck to all the teams."

Korea head coach Sungjin Hong said: "I heard that volleyball is very popular in Poland. We hope we will play good matches here and we can promise to show our best during the weekend."
