Dimitrov Ivan

Ivan Dimitrov Seferinov, the head coach of the Bulgarian team, is a former CSKA Sofia player and earned a fourth place with the Bulgarian team at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. As a coach, he led CSKA Sofia to the Final Four of the European Champions Cup in 1990. His coaching positions also include a role with Slavia Sofia, where he promoted the talented Bulgarian players Plamen Konstantinov and Matey Kaziyski.

Last year he succeeded to qualify the Bulgarian team to the Final of 2017 European Championship.
