Park parks Korea on top of pool standings in Ruse

Ruse, Bulgaria, July 9, 2017 - Jeongah Park led Korea to their second victory at the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2017 tournament in Ruse. The squad from eastern Asia handed Kazakhstan a speedy 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-14) shutout to move to the top of the current pool standings, at least until the last match in the northern Bulgarian city is played on Sunday evening – between the home team and Germany.

Park became the best scorer of this first ever World Grand Prix meeting between the two countries with 16 points. None of Kazakhstan’s players reached the double digits, with Katerina Tatko topping the list with 6 points.
