Chiclayo, Peru, July 08, 2017 - A team-high 17 points from Barbora Purchartova has helped Czech Republic to a 3-1 (25-20, 26-28, 25-21, 25-18) win over Puerto Rico in their FIVB World Grand Prix Group 2 clash, with Puerto Rico ably led by a powerful Karina Ocasio, who notched a game-high 20 points in the loss.
After winning their tournament opener 3-0 against Colombia the night before, the victory over Puerto Rico means it is the first time Czech Republic have won their opening two matches of the FIVB World Grand Prix since the 2014 edition.
