Ruse, Bulgaria, July 9, 2017 - The Korean players Yeon Koung Kim and Jeongah Park were happy with the two FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2017 wins in Ruse. They are already thinking about the games in Poland next week.

Yeon Koung Kim, captain of Korea: “It was a little bit difficult in the beginning of the tournament, because we had a long trip to come here. But anyway we already have two victories in our pockets and we should focus on the second week in Poland. I hope to win two or three games in Poland and I hope to qualify for the finals in the Czech Republic.”

Jeongah Park, player of Korea: “Today we played really well and just enjoyed the match. Everything was working for us and I am happy that we finished the tournament this way. Actually we have a lot of injuries right now and I аm a little bit worrieд about that. I hope in the next days some of our players will be better and we will do our best in Poland.”

Lyudmila Issayeva, player of Kazakhstan: “The team of Korea is really strong. Today we tried to play well and do the right things. Our team is not in the best situation at the moment. We were here with only ten players, because we have injury problems. I am also injured and did not play today. But I hope that everything will be better in the future and we will show what we can.”

Antonina Rubtsova, player of Kazakhstan: “It was a difficult match because Korea are a really technical team. They had a good game plan and for us it was really hard to do something. They have great defence and save unthinkable balls. Maybe at this moment we are not ready for opponents at such a high level.”
