 Another
of the team’s youthful powerhouses, at twenty three she is a prolific middle
blocker.  She believes that you have to :
“be the change you wish to see in the world” (Mahatma Gandhi). Sinead is a
gummy bear addict who is lovingly called ‘ Sinead the Grenade’ because of her
quick arm action and explosive attacks and blocks.

She
was introduced to the game by two persons, a fellow athlete who spotted this
tall girl and invited her to try the sport; then by a family friend and as they
say, the rest is history. She has been a member of this team since she was 16.
Her stature, work ethic and family support has her at the top of her game.
Sinead has had professional stints in Poland, Russia and Turkey to date.
