Venezuela coach Iosvanny Chambers and captain Desiree Glod were pleased with their 3-0 win over Mexico
Caracas, Venezuela, July 15, 2017 – Venezuela coach was satisfied on his team’s performance despite the short preparation for the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, but counts focus and determination as the keys to victory that led them to qualify to the Group 3 Final Four in Canberra, Australia.
“We fought hard to reach where we are today although we did not have so much time to prepare. In the end, we made it through and qualified to the Final Four. I always said that focus and determination are the keys to achieve these objectives.”
Venezuela captain Desiree Glod: “I am very satisfied for this achievement to make it to the Final Four. No one can imagine the happiness I feel right now, as we face a new challenge in Australia. We want to request the Venezuelan fans to never quit supporting us because this will encourage us to give our best in the competition.”
