Hungary coach Alberto Salamoni and Ricardo Naranjo from Mexico talk to the media after the match

Caracas, Venezuela, July 14, 2017 – Hungary claimed an important victory to qualify for the Final Four, which will be held in Australia next week. The Europeans defeated Mexico in stratight sets (25-14, 25-20, 25-13).

Hungary coach Alberto Salamoni: We are so happy we won 3-0 against the Mexicans, this team was not the same as we played in Aguas Calientes. We are not very satisfied with today’s performance, but it will be different tomorrow. Hungary are one step away from the finals, if we win tomorrow we will qualify for Australia finals with a total of 15 points.

Hungary captain Rita Liliom: We are very happy to win three sets and we are one step away from the finals. We are getting used to the climate. We do not know much about the team of Algeria, but tomorrow in the video that team will be analyzed.

Mexico coach Ricardo Naranjo: With some many unforced errors a match cannot be won. Lack of concentration makes it difficult to play efficiently.

Mexico captain Andrea Rangel: Heavy block from the Hungarians weakened our attack systems. The weather is very humid and we are getting used to this typical tropical climate.
