Australia host undefeated Hungary for Group 3 title

Lausanne, Switzerland, July 22, 2017 - Australia host Hungary Sunday in Canberra in the 2017 FIVB World Grand Prix Group 3 final, after the European side advanced through the semifinals on a five-set win over France and Australia qualified on a forfeit by Venezuela. This is Hungary's debut season and they remain undefeated in seven matches, including a 3-1 win over Australia on the opening weekend in Aguascalientes. The two sides have also met once before at the 1982 FIVB World Championship, when Hungary prevailed in straight sets.
