Lausanne, Switzerland, July 22, 2017 - Thailand host Italy Sunday in
Bangkok in the two team's 12th encounter at a world competition, of
which the Asian side have only won one - their most recent encounter in
last year's FIVB World Grand Prix 3-2 in Bari. Italy, on a six-match
winning streak and going for a record seventh win are already through to
the Final Six of this year's competition, but Thailand who scored only
their second win of the season on Saturday over Turkey are out of
contention on 2-6.
