Peru seek to beat Argentina in world event for first time in 18 years

Lausanne, Switzerland, July 15, 2017 - Peru and Argentina clash in the South American derby Sunday in Ostrowiec in what is the second meeting between the two sides in the history of the FIVB World Grand Prix after Argentina won in straight sets in 2014. More recently Argentina beat Peru 3-2 at the 2015 FIVB World Cup in Japan. Peru's last win over Argentina in a world competition was a four-set affair at the 1999 World Cup.
