Anne Buijs



In May 2008 Anne Buijs made her debut in the
national team in the match against Australia at the Montreux Volley Masters. So
far (01-05-2017), Buijs has played 164 international matches for her country.
With the Dutch national team the strong wing spiker conquered silver at the
2015 European Championship in The Netherlands. In 2016 Buijs and her team won
bronze in the World Grand Prix and ended on a historical fourth place in the
Rio Olympics. In the 2016-2017 season Buijs played for the Brazilian club Rexona-SESC
Rio. With this club Buijs won the Brazilian league title. Buijs started playing
volleyball at Compaen (Oostzaan).
