Celeste Plak



In May 2012 Celeste Plak made her debut in the national team in a friendly
match against France in The Netherlands. So far (01-05-2017), Plak has played 150
international matches for her country. With the Dutch national team the powerful
wing spiker conquered silver at the 2015 European Championship in The
Netherlands. In 2016 Plak and her team won bronze in the World Grand Prix and
ended on a historical fourth place in the Rio Olympics. In the 2016-2017 season
Plak played for the Italian club Igor Gorgonzola Novara, together with Laura
Dijkema. Together they won the Italian league title. Plak started playing
volleyball at De Boemel (Tuitjenhorn).
