Brazil coach Jose Roberto Guimaraes:
Teamwork matters. I am proud of my team which played well in serve, block and defence. Brazil suffered a lot and we also learned a lot. It is good to compete against the best teams in the world. In the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, we lost to China and this time we will do our best to improve and play better if we face China.

Brazil captain Natalia Pereira:
Today’s match against Serbia is one of the best matches we’ve played in the World Grand Prix and we didn’t make many mistakes. Everyone followed the same path, which helped us win this match, especially Tandara Caixeta and Adenizia Silva, who contributed a lot and had good reception. We played like a team.

Serbia coach Zoran Terzic: There is no doubt that Brazil deserved to win because they played much better than us. The reason why we lost is because we were tired. Tomorrow’s match is what matters now.

Serbia captain Milena Rasic: Brazil deserved this win. It was very hard to come back because we lost our morale and motivation. We fought well in the fourth set but it was not enough.
