Terzic: We played well enough to win today

All smiles for Serbia

Ankara, Turkey, July 9, 2017 – Serbia has won all of its matches this season in straight sets after defeating Belgium 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-18) on Sunday.

Serbia coach Zoran Terzic: "Today we didn't play well like yesterday. Maybe it's normal. We are definitely the first in this group. We finished this part of the competition in first place. Definitely we didn't play so well but we played enough to win today. We must be satisfied about the whole tournament. We won all three games 3-0. So now we need to prepare for the next tournament in Japan."

Serbia captain Milena Rasic: "It's always hard to play against the Belgium team because they are pretty good on defense, and they never give up. It's hard to make a point against them."

Belgium coach Gert Vande Broek: "We played against one of the strongest teams in the world. It's very difficult to score against that team, serving very well and blocking almost perfect. I can be satisfied about the game because there is a big difference in quality in both teams. We did our job, we did what we can do against the team with that level. I know you can never be satisfied losing a game as a coach but sometimes you had to admit that your opponent is much, much stronger. I have to congratulate them about how they are playing, what mentality they are playing. They tried to play perfect. When they are playing bad, we have some opportunities but when they are playing with this level it's very difficult for us. That's why I'm satisfied."

Belgium captain Charlotte Leys: "It was a difficult game for us against the team Serbia. I think they had a great service and we didn't have an answer for our receive. We did a lot of switches in our team. I think the fighting spirit was in our team. But the strongest team won today. They are a great team. We have to find solutions."
