Seniors' Women Team
After many seasons winning international experience, the Argentine
National Team has become a stable group at the World Grand Prix, premier annual
competition that it arrived to stay, participating this year for seventh consecutive
time. Added to this important fact, for fourth consecutive year Argentina will
organize one of the weekends, something that not only supports the respect
obtained by “Las Panteras” (nickname of the Argentine Seniors' Women National
Team) but also proves the prestige of Argentina as organizer of international
events, with Neuquen chosen as venue for this year's competition in the
country. During 2016 the team participated for the first time in the Olympic
Games held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, defeating Cameroon on its first Olympic
victory. In 2017 and with some changes in the squad, Argentina will look for
the qualification to the World Cup 2018.
