Beliën
In August 2012 Yvon Beliën made her debut in the national team in a
friendly match against Bulgaria. So far (01-05-2017), Beliën has played 150
international matches for her country. With the Dutch national team the middle
blocker conquered silver at the 2015 European Championship in The Netherlands. In
2016 Beliën and her team won bronze in the World Grand Prix and ended on a
historical fourth place in the Rio Olympics. In the 2016-2017 season Beliën played
for the Italian club Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena. With Liu Jo Nordmeccanica
Modena, she finished second in the Italian league. Beliën started playing
volleyball at VC Ledub (Budel).
